Who regularly - at least one day a week -- works at home?
About 20 million self-employed and salaried workers did work at home once a week as part of their job, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. That's about 15 percent of all workers. Most likely to work at home are engineers, architects, lawyers, scientists, health care professionals, teachers, social workers, writers and editors.
One-fourth of those in executive, administrative and managerial positions also worked from home. And so did one-fifth of those in sales jobs.
Least likely to work at home are production workers, technicians, clerical staff, service workers and laborers.
